What is The Career Success Center?

The Career Success Center is a state-of-the-art online program that takes you through each step of the career development process. The process begines with exercises to determine your vsion for career success. What it means for you and why. By understanding your career goals and objectives, you will be better able to translate them into actions that help you realize that vision and make it a reality. The Career Success Center is a creative, self-guided program that gives you a clear pathway to successful career transitions. By completing this program, you open the possibility for career choices that make every day of your life meaningful and rewarding.

The Career Success Center structures your exploration of career options and provides clear, incremental steps to creating the career you want.The first half of the seminar series to the left is dedicated to exploring your career in terms of your values, temperament, personality preferences, talents, interests and fascinations; the last half of the seminar series is focused on articulating your goals and implementing a successful career search. A detailed overview of each seminar is described more fully in the next section.

What is the best way to begin a process for achieving career success?

The series begins with your vision. If we had the magic wand and could make your dreams come true, what would it look like? When writing your vision, describe what makes you happy now and what you think will make you happy 10 years from now. Let us get a glimpse of what you define as ideal or perfect for you. If you can, give as much detail as you can. For example, what would a typical day, week, or month look like? What activities would you be involved in? What people would be in your life? Where would your perfect career be taking place location wise? What would the place look like, describe it in as much detail as you can.
